Hello Bill,
thank you for this blogpost and for finding these amazing videos.

My bike is a touring bike so I don’t really qualify for this kind of vacation which is good because it’s probably out of my price range anyways.

Loved the videos. I used to watch the OCC tv show on Discovery that were building all kinds of customs but never explained or showed how things were done like in these vids.

Can one identify a 2-stoke engine over a 4-stroke engine just by the appearance of the exhaust pipe?

They usually have the CC’s marked somewhere on the block. Of course, the name also usually gives away the power: 250 opr 500 ,etc..

I just have a question maybe u can answer.
If ur sorta new at dirt bikes how can u tell if the engine of the bike is a 250cc or something higher or lower if ur buyin used someone other than a dealer?

Am I reading this right? You are suggesting laying back and sitting straight up WHILE riding?

I’d think that excessive movement while riding, in general, is not a great idea, no?
